Five months ago, Microsoft took an unexpected turn with its Xbox One strategy and to everyone’s surprise announced during its keynote at E3 that Xbox 360 games are coming to Xbox One bringing backwards compatibility to their latest platform. This was more than well received by Xbox One Owners as they could import their disk games by installing them onto the Xbox One hard drive at no additional cost.
Now Microsoft has just published the first 104 games to be compatible with Xbox One and it includes some major releases such as Gears of War 3, Fallout 3, Assassins Creed 2, Borderlands, Fable 2, Just Cause 2 and Mirrors Edge. In case you don’t own any of these games you can always purchase them as digital downloads from the Xbox One store.
The compatibility feature is just around the corner as it slated to be released on November 12th via a firmware update. Check out the full list of all the backwards compatible games in this link http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility/ or in the images below!
